The Grace Hopper Conference is next week, and we have 6 WiCS members going! We look forward to hearing their experiences at the conference!

We have a volunteer to work on our website... Raven Rebb!

~Next Event~
On Monday 09/28/2009 at 4:00PM, we will be having a meeting in Rekhi 116. We are honored to have a returning guest, Cynthia Watson from Ford Motor Company. Ms. Watson will talk to us about employment opportunities at Ford, answer our questions about co-ops, internships, and the interview process. We will also be doing a skit giving interviewing tips. It should be quite entertaining!

~Possible Future Events~
The group brainstormed events/activities we would like to do this year. It would be hard to do all of these, but interest was shown in bowling, mentor writing, BonzAI, an outdoor activity (hiking, snowshoeing), article discussion, lab nights, volunteering, make a difference day, picnic, ACM and NMU programming competition, and Winter Carnival Statue.

~Game Time~
We concluded the meeting with pizza and a game of Taboo.
